Description

This is a "buy it now" auction for a brand new case of (20) 20" x 20" 5KR1 AFC brand Scrim Backed High Quality Intake Paint Booth Filters. These inlet/dust collecting filters are used in cross draft booths, down draft booths and prep stations. They are constructed of 100% poly media impregnated with a non-migrating tackifier. The 3-ply media with scrim backing is heat sealed to a 9 gauge internal support frame.  This sturdy combination results in a filter that eliminates fiber migration or filter media oscillation during operation.  The two distinct layers along with the scrim backing results in more than 95% filtration efficiency on particles 7-10 micron's and larger.
Panels are unaffected by mold and humidity and are UL Class II rated.  Heat sealed construction, gasketed to eliminate bypass. Galvanized steel frame with two cross bars to make them sturdy and self supporting.

Let's Talk About Filters
The Series 55 and Series 320 are our most popular panel. They have a lighter poly weave than the series 65, which creates a nice combo of air flow and particle capture. Collects 75% of particles under 10 mic's and close to 100% of particles larger than 10 mic. I would gauge avg lifespan at about 4 months. Great panel, great price, never a complaint.
The CT-20 Long Life Series is constructed of a heavier poly weave. More material on the air leaving side equals more particles collected through the filter, increasing life span. The tackifier is heavier on the veil of this filter, boosting efficiency. Collects 80% of particles under 10 mic's. The media is 3 ply, so there are three layers of denseness (media gets progressively denser air entering to air leaving side)  Since particles flow through the dry white side first, they get caught behind the tackifier and third woven layer of material. So, they prime up and perform really well.
5KR1 5000 Series AFC Scrim Backed Premium Intake Filters are designed to provide the highest possible level of performance. The heavy duty scrim backing replaces tackifier on the air leaving side of the panel, creating an almost
impenetrable veil. This 3-ply panel captures 95% of particles under 10 mic's. The scrim backing is a bright white, giving booths that clean professional look.
