This Russian military canteen is perfect for everyone who loves fishing, hunting, hiking, or just having fun in the great outdoors! Canteen is greased with solid oil for long-term storage. To remove solid oil:
1. Place canteen in boiling water for 20 minutes;
2. Pour boiling water into canteen and add 3-4 tbsp of baking soda. Close the lid and shake well. Leave the solution in your canteen for a few hours, empty, and repeat this step again.
3. Fill with vodka and leave overnight.
Next morning your canteen is ready for use!
