Five or six sheets of Dry or ‘WetorDry’ sandpaper designed to be used with the various soft rubber sanding blocks or DIY wood/plastic blocks or glass sheets.  The soft rubber blocks work best for contoured car body surfaces, while wood blocks or glass sheets are best when you desire a true flat surface finish (eg.  Finish polishing an engine block when installing head gaskets).
The sandpaper is held in the rubber blocks using steel gripper teeth, while staples or spray adhesive is used with wood, plastic or glass sheets.
The Dry course to Very Fine ‘WetorDry’ grit sandpapers   can be used from the rough of stripping paint to metal to final featheredging around the repair area, as well as shaping and sanding body filler.
The Dry grit sandpapers are used during the initial Stage 1 of the 3M Body Repair System, while the Fine to Very Fine ‘WetorDry’ grits are use in the final Stage 4 of 3M Body Repair .
The abrasives are long-lasting tough and resist loading.
The 3M Large Sanding Block (03149) makes the most efficient use of the 3 2/3”x9” since the block is the same width as the paper.  However, the standard smaller width blocks 2.5” allow overlap of the paper onto the sides of the block to enable corner sanding and for having an area of fresh abrasive available when needed.
Designed to be used on wood, metal, drywall, fiberglass and painted surfaces.
Use for hand or machine sanding.

: 3M products have always been high quality (at least all the ones I have bought), and this collection is no exception. I wanted different grits (especially the 220 and 320), so this worked for me. The paper quality is top notch so water doesn't bother them at all. Really, it's just sandpaper, but it is really a high grade and good variety for wet/dry. (I realize if you are really serious about auto painting and so forth, you need finer grades of sandpaper like 500 and above.)

: I customize Barbie dolls.  I purchased these to prime soft, delicate plastics for paint. This is the perfect grain of paper to use. I tear small pieces and
shape it how I need it for sanding.
