    Handmade in America
    This unique wood hiking stick made of diamond willow has numerous wooden diamonds, a few curves but stands straight, and a mysteriously wonderful character.
    Great for backpacking and camping trips, everyday use as a cane substitute, or as a theater prop for a
    wizard or wise elder character, or Halloween costume accessory.
    No paints, colors or stains added--just 5 coats of clear poly. This is all beauty from Mother Nature that I helped bring out with meticulous, mindful sanding and clear poly.
    WRIST STRAP OPTION: I can drill a hole, sand and coat it with clear poly, and add a braided wrist strap,
    but you must:
    (1) purchase a strap separately from my store
    AND
    (2) message me to let me know you want it added to your stick (otherwise I'll ship the wrist strap separately).

    Features
    STURDY: Has a thick girth for an extra sturdy journey staff, able to hold up heavy or obese people, or those who need extra support.
    HAND GRIP: Best for big hands, that is, an adult who wears size XL gloves. My wife, who is 5 ft 8 in wears size L glove and says it's comfortable but for longer treks she'd prefer something just a tad thinner. Grip is more oval than round, which is often preferred. It fits great in my hand and feels super comfortable. Sanded smooth and great for either left- or right-handed folks.
    CURVES: Has delightfully accentuated curves, giving it great character and making it extra intriguing, but the stick stands straight for the most part and works great! See pics.

    THOROUGHLY DRIED: Wood is dried for several months, often with a fan blowing on them in the summer, ensuring they're fully cured

    ABOUT MAX WEIGHT: 350 lbs.
    This can probably hold more weight, but I wouldn't want to guarantee that. I'm 200 lbs. and test each stick to make sure it's sturdy and doesn't bend, and I know this is good solid wood and quite thick.
    CAN BE SHORTENED
    We'll happily cut it down for you, FREE of charge. Just let us know the length you want and we'll cut it after you pay. We'll then saw, sand and coat with a few extra layers of polyurethane on the end.
    Remember: Measure twice, cut once. ;)
    SIZING GUIDE:
    Preferences vary and it depends on the terrain, but generally a hiking staff should be about shoulder height, or 6-8 in. above the elbow. Measure while wearing regular walking shoes.
