I will label it "pot metal She is missing something that was held in the right hand. Possibly the reins to match those held in left hand. Or possible a spear, sword or other implement. You could replace both reins so as to match. Nothing is broken. It is absent dark
color or paint
on the right calf, left shin and ankle. Could touch up with black spray paint.
Labled "
Amazone
" as in Amazon Woman, Amazon Warrior Woman, Amazon ass kicker etc.
Weighs 8 lbs. 7 ozs.
t'would make a nice book end for the tomes on your shelf
It is about 11& 3/4" tall & about 10.5 " long
base is 9" x 4& 1/4"
Looks like some (two) threaded holes on bottom for mounting to a nice stained wood or marble base. Often times figurines such as these were mounted to clock such as
Ansonia.
I cannot find another like it on the world wide web. So I will venture out there and
label it"rare" in the extreme. Yes it is not gold. Tis why I am not asking gold price for it.
