G&C  "sticks n' stocks"  ready to mount on your preferred bag.  They are made of African Blackwood with
imitation ivory (Catalin)
ferrules, projecting mounts, rings and bushings, and are in excellent condition.  I have a current
Certificate of Authenticity and Opinion of Value
prepared by well respected Pipe Major Ron (Ringo) Bowen of  The Bagpipe Place detailing the history of the pipes as well as the G&C company at the time they were made in Glasgow, Scotland, which I will furnish with the sale
or upon request for examination
.  He values the pipes as is at 00 US. He mentions that
these chanters were special
and were played in competition by several top Grade 1 bands.  The original pipe case with key which is in very good condition but needs relining, is included in the offering.
I piped for over 30 years both with a Shrine pipe band and as a solo piper for weddings and funerals, using this set for special occasions and another different set for marching band use.  Age and health have dictated my retirement from piping.
