BARCO wePresent WiPG-1500 Presentation Server 100Mb LAN
The new WiPG-1500 Gateway allows wireless presentations from up to 64 participants, offers secure encrypted transmission and transforms the projector or screen into a virtual whiteboard without connecting to the PC.
In the digital world, collaboration is very different than it was just a few years ago. Whether in the conference room or in the lecture hall, every participant is equipped with a notebook or tablet and would like to share their content with the others. With the new gateway WePresent WiPG-1500, time-consuming cabling or the hassle of plugging and unplugging are a thing of the past.
Up to 64 participants can transmit their digital content wirelessly to the screen or display. Since operating systems for PC ( Windows 8/7/Vista/XP and Mac from OS X10.5) as well as for smartphones and tablets (from Android 2.2 or iOS 3.2) are supported, there are no limits to the variety of connections.
Strict data security guidelines prevail, especially in large companies or authorities, and this was also taken into account when developing the WiPG-1500. The wireless transmission of data is encrypted according to Allen common encryption standards WEP, WPA and WPA2.
WiPG-1500 also supports interactive presentation, whether via touch screen, remote control or any other USB HID device. Annotations and markings can be made in the presentation, while the remote control has a pen and mouse function. In addition, a white or black page can be called up, which gives space for further comments. This is how a screen or a display becomes a virtual whiteboard. If you connect the WiPG-1500 to a touch screen or interactive whiteboard via USB, each participant has the opportunity to interact. No additional driver software is required.
Installing the WiPG-1500 is very easy: The gateway can be connected to any television, display or projector via HDMI or VGA and supports a resolution of up to Full HD. It can also be used with touchscreens and interactive whiteboards, which can then also be used to control the projection computer wirelessly.
