MacLellan Gael 470 Band Polypenco Bagpipe Chanter

Description

This is a Gael 470 low-pitched band chanter. These were made by MacLellan bagpipes to the specifications laid out by Jim McGillivray and intended for lower-grade bands to achieve a better sound as compared to the higher pitched alternatives. With a pitch in the low-to-mid 470s and a lovely warm tone, this chanter would be equally suited for solo play as well as band play. Average finger spacing and works best with Chesney Warnock reeds, though I've had success with Ross reeds and Husk reeds as well.
