    Beautiful high spirited brass
    Flying Horse of Gansu

    Galloping Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow,

    an ancient Chinese sculpture
    from
    Eastern Han dynasty, 25 - 220 AD
    , but this version has more
    realistic features
    and proportions. The original
    is
    in the Gansu Provincial Museum and t
    he concept

    epresents an ideal horse that can gallop so fast that it seems to outrun the wind
    , perfectly balanced on only one hoof, to complete the illusion of flight.
    Good condition
    with minor
    wear & discoloration and typical mold flaws & seams.
