Marie Osmond “On Pins & Needles” 2001 Pin Cushion Porcelain DollPorcelain half body & molded hair with pin cushion bottom
Inspired by the half-doll or “pin cushion” dolls that were popular in Europe around the turn of the century.
Doll actually functions as a sewing accessory in addition to being a stunning decorative item.
Her elaborate torso is meticulously Sculpted by Michael Evert.
Burnt pinkish orange sheer gown. Her sheer skirt serves to cover the “pin cushion” bottom.

**I have purchased a small lot of Marie Osmond dolls from an auction house that were new not used. There seems to be pin holes on tag but no where else. Might have happened during manufacturing.
