Rare Woodland Camo Canteen Cover Alice Ripstop w 1 qt canteen

In the 30 plus years I’ve been visiting military surplus stores and in my time in the military, I never came across a canteen cover like this. A Very Rare Woodland Canteen Cover Made out of Woodland Ripstop Material (minus the tiny piece of NYCO used to make the purification tab pouch flap).
Has a DLA number on the back, and it’s not a cheap import, I believe it’s military issue, maybe something made special for Spec Ops units? I looked online for quite awhile and couldn’t find much useful info. In any event it’s unusual and a very well made item. Includes a 1 quart canteen, stamped 1980.
