    Description

    Very rare stamp album titled "Stamp Album for Construction of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone". It is a hard cover book with that measures 10 1/2" x 10 1/8" x 3/4" thick inside a hard case that measures 11" x 10 3/4" x 1 1/8" thick. It contains a series of stamps matched with beautiful drawings and pictures of Shenzhen and surrounding areas that were used in the stamp's pictures. It also contains 5 silver stamps as explained in the "Appraisal Certificate" below. It was given to me as a present by the company I was consulting for in Shenzhen in 2001 and has been in storage since. The album is brand new in the original hard case. The hard case has a 1/16" nick on the left edge of its top cover. The album is in mint condition. Stands are not included. The "Appraisal Certificate", which is the 2nd picture, states, "This is to certify that a set of five stamps mounted with pure silver is designed in imitation of the 2000-16 stamp pattern of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Construction under the supervision of Guangdong Post Office and jointly issued by Guangdong Philatelic Corporation and Shenzhen Philatelic Company according to approval by the State Post Office in Document No. (2000) 49. There are totally 2000 sets with the specification of 50 x 30mm and 3 g 99% pure silver in each stamp
