Vintage 1934 Detroit Tigers Pin and Powatan Tiger Rooters Ribbon

Description

The pin is 1” in diameter and the ribbons are about 2 3/4” in length. The Powatan was a nightclub in downtown Detroit, known for their upscale dining and dancing that advertised themselves as the “Aristocrat of Detroit night clubs”. Photo #11 shows the ad used in the Detroit free press and photo #12 shows the page that it was on. The ad is on the bottom of the page and the top of the page was dated November 19, 1934. Not sure if you can read it or not. Google the Powatan aristocrat of Detroit nightclubs to view ad and full page. The pin is very difficult to come by, and is in great condition.
