Vintage ART DECO Bob Tail METAL HORSE Figurine looks like WEIDLICH 7.5"x7"
Elegant old
art deco
horse with
bobbed tail
is
silver or pewter plated pot metal
/spelter with a
brushed silver finish
.
Heavy, nice quality
piece with
detailed face
and
smooth almost seamless
finish. Horse appears to be a
Weidlich Bros
.
horse but I am not 100% sure. Shape and detail is identical in every way to a shiny silver plated one in my collection but this one is unmarked, much heavier, the finish is different, and it has no reins.
Excellent vintage condition
with
age related wear & discoloration and typical mold flaws & seams.
The most noticeable areas of wear are 2 small light dings on the left shoulder and a slightly darker area about 3/8 inch near his right stifle.
No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
If flaws exist in my items, I do my best to show or describe them.
