  • Condition: This horse figurine is from a collection that dates from the late 1950's and thru the 1960's. I will be selling all the collection in the coming weeks. They were kept in a glass show case in a smoke and pet free home. These are at least 60 years old. There are no chips or signs of crazing and the finish is a soft glazed light tan with off white mane and tail. However, a very nice lady spotted that the tail has been glued at some time in the past and I had not seen it when it was listed. It is still a very nicely made figurine. I am not sure if I would try to repair it again.

    Description

    This large sized Cremello (Perlino) horse stands about 5 1/4" tall and about 6 1/4" long. It is a very delicate figurine with very fine details, including beautiful coloring and nice legs. It has a metallic label on the  underbelly which reads Lefton's Exclusives Reg. US Pat. Off. JAPAN. The tail has been glued on after having been broken off sometime in the past.
