  • Condition: This pony is from a collection that dates from the late 1950's and thru the 1960's. I will be selling all the collection in the coming weeks. They were kept in a glass show case in a smoke and pet free home. These are at least 60 years old. There are no chips, cracks or crazing and the finish is a soft glazed brown with off white legs, black mane and tail. The extra details on this Welsh Bay Pony are especially nice. There are two more larger Welsh Bays being listed at this time which make a handsome trio of Stallion, Mare and young Gelding.

    Description

    This large sized Welsh Bay Pony stands about 61/2" tall and about 7 3/4" long. It is a very delicate figurine with very fine details, including beautiful coloring and nice legs. The  label is missing ;but, I believe it is made in Japan. I believe it is a Stallion and it would go nicely with two others that are being listed.
