    This is an index card (see picture) nicely signed by NHL and WHA goalie ERNIE WAKELY.  In a career that spanned from 1959 through 1979, Ernie Wakely played for Montreal and St. Louis in the NHL, then with the Jets, the Aeros, and several other teams in the WHA.  He holds the WHA records for most games by a goalie and most shutouts (16).  Wakely was an inaugural member of the WHA Hall of Fame in 2010.  This index card is intact, exhibiting some wear and light staining.  The signature is very legible.  It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make an inexpensive gift for that Ernie Wakely enthusiast, Montreal or St. Louis fan, old WHA historian, or vintage autograph collector in your life!
